About 10 years ago, Phoebe and her family vacationed for the first time in Puerto Vallarta.  One day, they asked a taxi driver if there was a place to surf.  The taxi driver took them to Sayulita, which at the time was a boho, laid-back surf town.  The vibe was so different from Puerto Vallarta! 

The following years, the Fullers vacationed in Sayulita, but the town was becoming more crowded as each year passed.  Then Kevin and Holly had a crazy idea to build a house in Mexico with the hope of spending the winters there after retirement.  

A friend suggested the smaller neighboring town of San Pancho, which like Sayulita, has a chill, surf town vibe, but San Pancho has a sense of community.   People are friendly and time moves slowly.   It’s by no means a resort town; you will not find any franchised stores or restaurants/coffee shops, and the occasional rooster, chicken and/or stray (but friendly) dog may cut in front of you on the sidewalk.  Life is simple there – we hope you will enjoy San Pancho as much as we do!
