Tour the Marietta Islands (pick up in Punta Mita; there are several travel/guide places in San Pancho which will book the excursion for you)

Visit Sayulita to surf, shop and eat (Sayulita has a similar vibe as San Pancho, but it is larger and much more crowded); you can catch a taxi from one of the taxi stands to take you there

There are guided tours offering ATVs and/or horseback riding through the jungle

Golf in Litibu (www.higueragolfclub.com)

Hang out at the town beach (note that an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs will cost about $500 pesos)

Walk along Las Clavellinas (aka Jungle Road); just past the Beach Club up to the Fuller house, around the bend and back is about 3.5 miles, and you can see the Buddha temple along the way
